Published:2021-12-04

In 2021, Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at ECNU has received 6 grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), including one Key Program project, one International (Regional) Joint Research project, and three general projects. It is especially worth mentioning that Professor Cao Zhenfu’s project “Theory and Technology for Data Security and Trustworthiness in Big Data Sharing and Trading” has received the funding of Key Program project. The project “Efficient and Verifiable Formal Verification Techniques for Deep Learning Systems” jointly applied by Professor Zhang Min, as the Chinese project leader, and the professor from the Hebrew University of Israel was funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Israel Science Foundation.

Youth Science Fund Project

For a long time, the research work of SEI has received stable and strong support from NSFC. The Institute attaches great importance to the fund application work, actively cooperates with the university to organize multiple rounds of evaluation at the institute and university levels, provides feedback on the common problems of the applications and does the formal review work carefully.

This year, with the support of the Institute and the joint efforts of the faculty, nearly 7 million yuan was approved from NSFC, which is a record high. In the future, SEI will also continue to support faculty’s applications and help them achieve better results.
